Senior Ecommerce Manager @ Vyper Industrial
Published: August 7, 2026
Job description
We're hiring a Senior Ecommerce Manager to own our customer facing website outright: how it converts, how it merchandises, how fast it loads, and how it feels.
We think about our website the way a good retailer thinks about a store. It should be clean. Products should be easy to find. Customers should be able to learn what they need without hunting. There should be someone to talk to. Checkout should be fast and frictionless. Nothing should make anyone wait and pain points should be removed.
You'll have a development team to build what you spec and a creative team to design it, so you don't need to write code. What you do need is the judgment to know what to test, the eye to keep it on brand, and the discipline to run a constant testing program instead of a series of one-off projects.
Reports to the VP of Growth.
Experience Requirements
- Own the full customer-facing experience on vyperindustrial.com: homepage, PDPs, collections, cart, and checkout
- Run a continuous CRO testing program. You'll build the roadmap, write the hypotheses, brief design, hand specs to development, and analyze the results.
- Build and test landing pages for campaigns and offers using Replo or similar. This is a high-velocity part of the job.
- Work with VP of Growth on merchandising: collection structure, product sequencing, bundling and kits, cross-sell and upsell placement, and how the assortment is presented across the site
- Build out new product pages for every launch, working with product, creative, and marketing to get the story, specs, and imagery right
- Build sales and promotional pages for every campaign
- Own SKU and listing operations day one: uploads, variants, imagery, copy, metadata, and collection rules. As the catalog and volume grow, build and lead the team that takes this over.
- Own site speed. Monitor it, protect it, and push back on anything that degrades it. Load speeds should be looked at as a conversion metric.
- Partner with the performance creative team so every test and page reinforces the brand instead of eroding it
- Report on site performance: conversion rate, AOV, page-level behavior, and what your testing program actually produced
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 5+ years managing Shopify storefronts for a DTC brand, ideally at $50M+ in ecommerce revenue
- Heavy, demonstrable CRO experience specifically on homepage, PDP, and collection pages. - Come ready to walk through tests you ran, what you hypothesized, and what happened.
- Landing page testing experience in Replo, Shogun, PageFly, or similar. This is a non-negotiable.
- Merchandising experience. You've made assortment, sequencing, and bundling decisions and can point to what they did to AOV and conversion rate.
- A genuine creative eye. We need someone who can hold conversion discipline and brand standards at the same time. Strategists who ship ugly pages that convert are not a fit here, and neither are people who make things pretty that don't sell.
- Working understanding of site speed: what causes it, how to diagnose it, and how to argue for it. You should know what a third-party app does to your load time before you install it.
- Comfortable specifying work for developers without writing the code yourself. You can write a clear brief, scope a build, and know when an estimate doesn't smell right.
- Hands-on with product listing management at scale: variants, imagery, copy, metadata, collection rules
- Analytically fluent. GA4, Shopify analytics, heatmapping and session replay, and enough statistical sense to know when a test is actually done.
Bonus points:
- Higher-AOV considered purchases ($300+), consumer durables, tools, furniture, or automotive
- Klaviyo, subscription, or post-purchase experience
- Basic Liquid, HTML, or CSS literacy, enough to read code even if you don't write it
- Experience managing external agencies or contractors and holding them to a standard
- Genuine interest in the automotive industry
