The Starters $1 Trial Terms

By joining The Starters for a $1 trial, you agree to these Trial Terms and our Terms of Use. These Trial Terms supplement the Terms of Use. Nothing in these Trial Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

1. Your trial and membership

Your trial costs $1 and lasts 7 days. Unless you cancel before the deadline, your membership will renew on the terms you expressly accept at checkout.

2. Keep contact on The Starters

During your trial, do not contact Starters discovered through the platform outside The Starters, directly or indirectly, to arrange calls, hiring, projects or payment. Use The Starters to initiate contact and arrange those engagements. Our Terms of Use prohibit contacting freelancers found on the platform through other means.

3. Trial misuse: proposed remedy

If you initiate prohibited off-platform outreach during your trial, The Starters may terminate your trial or convert your membership to an annual plan and charge the current annual membership amount specifically disclosed and expressly accepted before trial enrollment. 

4. Cancellation with scheduled calls or projects

A trial cannot be canceled while a call remains scheduled or a project is active. Before canceling, you must conclude any active engagements or scheduled calls with Starters on the platform.
