Job description

We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to take ownership of ongoing site maintenance and optimization for one of our brand clients. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping the site running smoothly, implementing front-end and back-end updates, resolving technical issues, and identifying opportunities to improve speed, UX, and performance.

You’ll be responsible for:

Executing front-end and theme updates (product changes, landing pages, homepage updates, etc.)

Troubleshooting and resolving bugs, broken sections, or functionality issues

Implementing performance improvements across desktop and mobile

Managing custom code edits (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid)

Optimizing for speed, mobile responsiveness, and conversion best practices

Maintaining app integrations and suggesting technical improvements

Experience Requirements

Experience Requirements

3+ years of experience working with Shopify (theme development, Liquid, app integrations)

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid

Strong understanding of eCommerce UX and conversion best practices

Experience with performance optimization tools (PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, etc.)

Ability to work independently and proactively manage updates and improvements

Bonus: experience with headless builds or Shopify Plus
