{TEST}-Jai's Test - June 10th - Ongoing Part Time @ {TEST}-The Starters

Published: June 10, 2025

Job description

{TEST}-Company Description:

Cheeky is an all natural hygiene brand for people that spend a bit too much time online. Instead of making products "for men" or faux-luxury, we try to make high quality products that are actually fun to use. Our core product is a moisturizing bar soap that's packed with hydrating ingredients like shea butter and jojoba oil. Every bar has a fun fragrance that you can actually smell, and a name that you'll enjoy if you spend enough time online (Pulp Francis, Touch Grass, etc). We launched back in November but are growing very quickly and are looking to fill in some gaps on our team.

Role Description:

At a high level what I'm looking for is a generalist marketer that can help manage the execution of our marketing campaigns with other individual contributors (designer/editor/agency partner).

Our primary marketing channel is partnerships (large YouTubers / Twitch streamers) and we already have a partnerships manager full time to work with them. Outside of that, we have our usual channels where we execute our marketing:

Paid Social - have someone working with a designer and editor to make ads, but they're just a friend helping out. Would love someone that can manage this process and keep it moving. Don't need to be an expert media buyer, just able to coordinate and give feedback on creative.

Organic Social - I am posting occasionally but very inconsistently. Would be great to have someone that can make sure content is being shared according to a schedule.

Email marketing - we work with an agency that specs out the calendar + does design but there's a lot of back and forth on creative. It's time consuming for me and I'd prefer to have someone that can oversee the agency and make sure they're getting us good output and aligned to our release schedule.

Website - I'm a designer/dev so I make all of the updates to the site. But, for a given campaign there are assets that need to be made to support it on the website.

All of this basically centers around new product releases. So for a new fragrance we're launching next month, we need to get photos taken, graphics made, and manage the promotional calendar to make sure emails are going out, creator partners are seeded with product, and everyone is marching in the right direction.

I'm not looking to hand off 100% of this responsibility but we're going to be releasing at least one new product every month for the rest of the year so it's a lot for me to coordinate on my own.

Experience Preferences

We're a very digitally native brand so to be the right fit, being familiar with gaming/anime/youtube/twitch culture is important. Someone that's never spent time engaging with any of those spaces probably wouldn't have a good understanding of our customers.

We don't have a full time design resource so having some background in using Figma/Canva/etc either to make (or simply edit) emails, ads, or social posts would be a huge plus.

At least 2 years experience working directly with brands or in-house on a marketing team.

Duration: 3-6 Months

Hrs/Week: 10-15

Budget: ~$3000/mo
