Director of Performance Creative @ Beachhead Digital
Published: April 24, 2026
Job description
You’re the creative leader who still absolutely loves getting into the weeds of creative R&D and writing briefs. Who still pulls data from Ads Manager and spots the insight that reshapes the next round of concepts. Who gives an editor feedback so specific it transforms the final product—and then leads a client call with the confidence that only comes from knowing the craft inside and out.
You’ve been looking for a role that values that. A place where staying close to the work isn’t seen as “not being strategic enough”—it’s recognized as the foundation of great creative leadership.
This is a player-coach role in the truest sense. You’ll spend meaningful time doing hands-on creative strategy, analysis, and brief development alongside your team—because the best creative leaders are senior ICs who understand the work deeply enough to elevate everyone around them through showing, not telling.
We’ve scaled every brand partner we’ve ever worked with: 1,201% revenue growth for Quince, 715% ad spend scaling for Suja Organic, 6–8x creative hit rate improvement for Blissy, and surpassing management forecasts nearly every month for Alice Mushrooms. 100% client success rate—and we intend to keep it that way.
Experience Requirements
5–9 years in creative strategy for performance marketing (Meta/TikTok focus) at an agency
Hands-on proficiency with Meta Ads Manager & TikTok Ads Manager for pulling and analyzing creative performance data
Experience writing UGC scripts, video briefs, and static concept briefs that have driven measurable business results
People management experience (2+ years) with demonstrated ability to develop talent through hands-on coaching
Experience leading client relationships independently as the primary creative advisor
Deep understanding of UGC production workflows: casting, creator briefing, content QC, and revision management
Advanced proficiency with AI/LLM tools for creative research, concept ideation, workflow automation, and production/editing
Experience building creative SOPs, testing frameworks, or training materials in previous roles
Strongly Preferred
Agency experience at a scaling performance marketing agency (10–60 person range)
Experience with creative analytics tools (Motion, Foreplay, CreativeOS) and digital asset management platforms
Background in video editing or production—understanding the craft makes your feedback to editors dramatically more effective
Experience with retail/CPG creative and omnichannel brands (not just DTC)
