GREATS is a Brooklyn-born footwear brand built on timeless design, premium materials, and modern versatility. As we accelerate growth across digital and wholesale, we’re looking for a freelance Graphic Designer to help shape the next chapter of the brand—building awareness, driving demand, and turning creative storytelling into measurable growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking a freelance graphic designer to support digital and performance marketing initiatives. This role is production-heavy but requires strong brand instincts and a sharp eye for typography, layout, and hierarchy.
The ideal candidate understands how to translate brand storytelling into high-performing e-commerce and paid creative.
Scope of Work
1. Email Marketing
2-3 unique email designs per week
Promotional campaigns
Product launches
Seasonal storytelling
Evergreen flows (as needed)
Modular systems that can be iterated efficiently
Strong typography and conversion-focused layouts
2. Web & E-commerce Assets
20–30 web assets per month, including:
Homepage hero banners
Landing page designs
Collection page graphics
Promotional modules
PDP storytelling enhancements
Campaign landing pages
Occasional site refresh support and UI design collaboration
3. Paid Media Creative
15 paid media ads per month in multiple formats, including:
Static social ads
Carousel units
Display ads
Resized and optimized variants
Ability to design for performance while maintaining brand consistency
Light motion or animated assets a plus
4. Organic Social
10–15 social posts or stories per month
Launch announcements
Product highlights
Campaign storytelling
Promotional support
5. Additional Brand & Marketing Support
Support on wholesale marketing assets (e.g. look book, signage, postcards)
Digital marketing toolkits for retail partners
In-box collateral or light packaging support
Video editing capabilities are a strong asset (short-form paid media, social cutdowns, lightweight motion)
Deliverables & Working Style
Weekly asset production aligned with marketing calendar
Ability to handle occasional 48–72 hour turnarounds
Collaboration with marketing, e-commerce, and brand leadership
Organized file delivery and scalable design systems
Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience Requirements
Strong digital portfolio (fashion, footwear, or lifestyle preferred)
Experience with DTC e-commerce brands
Deep understanding of conversion-focused design
Strong typography and layout skills
Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience creating paid media variations efficiently
Video editing (Premiere/After Effects/CapCut, etc.) is a plus
Engagement Details
20 hours per week
Remote, NY area preferred
3–6 month contract (potential for extension)
