Growth Marketing Operator - Fractional / Part-Time @ Institute for Integrative Nutrition
Published: March 3, 2026
Job description
We're a health and wellness education company looking for a fractional growth marketing operator to get hands-on across paid acquisition, lifecycle, and performance reporting. You'll work directly with the head of marketing who sets strategy. Your job is to execute, optimize, measure, and find the growth levers we're not pulling yet.
This is an in-the-platforms role. You're building ads in Meta, reviewing agency work in Google, building flows in Klaviyo, pulling performance data, and surfacing opportunities we'd otherwise miss. We don't need a strategist who delegates. We need someone who does the work and is sharp enough to spot what's working and what's not.
We're lean and fast-moving. Startup or turnaround experience is strongly preferred. If you've operated in a scrappy environment where you had to build, measure, and optimize without a big team behind you, you'll do well here.
What You'll Do
Meta Ads (you own this)
-Build campaigns, manage creative testing, optimize audiences, adjust spend
-Drive performance day to day
-You're in the account regularly and you know what's working before anyone asks
Google Ads (agency oversight)
-We have an agency managing Google. You review their work and hold them accountable to KPIs
-Flag issues and push for better performance
-Know enough to catch what an agency misses and challenge their recommendations with data
Lifecycle (Klaviyo)
-Build and optimize automated flows: welcome series, nurture sequences, abandonment, re-engagement
-Report on flow performance and identify where leads are dropping off or where there's opportunity
-You're not managing day-to-day campaign sends, but you are building the systems that run in the background and measuring whether they're moving the needle
Performance Reporting & Opportunities
-Pull data across paid, email, and web
-Build clear reporting that tells us what's driving conversions, where we're leaking, and what to do about it
-Don't just report numbers. Find the insight: the thing we should test, the segment we're ignoring, the channel that's underperforming
-Be opportunistic. If you see a lever, flag it and tell us how to pull it
Promo Strategy
-You'll have support from leadership, but we want someone with experience building compelling promos for high-consideration products
-Pricing, offers, urgency, landing page alignment. You should have a feel for what drives conversions and what falls flat
-If you've worked in DTC, education, or any longer sales cycle environment and have a track record of promos that actually moved the needle, that's exactly what we need
Why This
You'll work directly with a marketing leader who's hands-on, moves fast, and cares about building something that works. The team is small, the impact is immediate, and there's real room to grow this into a bigger role for the right person. If you're a sharp operator who wants ownership and the space to find what's working, let's talk.
Experience Requirements
-6-10 years in growth or performance marketing with deep hands-on Meta Ads experience
-Strong working knowledge of Google Ads
-Solid experience with Klaviyo or similar ESP. Can build flows, segment audiences, and troubleshoot without handholding
-Startup, turnaround, or early-stage experience is a big plus. We need someone who's operated, not someone who managed from a distance
-DTC, education, or high-consideration purchase experience a strong plus
Skills & Mindset
-You think in outcomes, not activity
-You have an eye for what affects performance: copy, creative, timing, audience, offer
-Clear communicator who surfaces findings proactively
-Operate independently. Don't need to be told what to look at
-Resourceful, detail-oriented, nothing goes live without proper QA
AI & Automation
-You actively use AI tools to move faster and work smarter: automating reporting, generating creative variations, building workflows, analysis
-Comfortable integrating AI into how you operate day to day
-If you've built repeatable systems using AI (not just one-off prompts), that's a major plus
