Published: January 30, 2026
Job description
The Next Race Studio empowers culturally resonant brands to unlock their full potential. We blend sharp strategy, design, and technology with deep industry insight to build roadmaps that turn creative momentum into predictable performance.
We’re hiring a Paid Media contractor to run social + search across a portfolio of DTC brands. This is for someone who operates with high ownership, strong responsiveness, and excellent attention to detail across multiple moving timelines.
---
The Role
You will plan, launch, optimize, and report on paid media programs across accounts you manage. You should be comfortable owning performance across Meta + Google (minimum), with the ability to build a clean system for testing, creative iteration, budget allocation, and measurement.
This role is best suited for someone who:
- Moves quickly and communicates early
- Treats client performance like it matters (because it does)
- Enjoys the craft of performance marketing and stays engaged with what’s working now
- Can reliably dedicate a minimum of ~30 hours per month (with potential to scale)
---
Responsibilities
Account Ownership and Execution
- Manage paid media for accounts you support across **social + search**
- Own end-to-end execution: campaign setup, ongoing optimization, testing, and reporting
- Maintain a clear operating cadence (weekly priorities, performance notes, next steps)
Social (Meta Primary)
- Build and manage Meta campaigns (prospecting + retargeting)
- Structure audiences, exclusions, and funnel logic cleanly
Search (Google Primary)
- Build and manage Google Ads (Shopping / Performance Max, Search, and retargeting where relevant)
- Own feed health basics and shopping structure strategy (in partnership with the team as needed)
- Maintain disciplined keyword, query, and budget management tied to business goals
Measurement and Performance Management
- Track and interpret performance across core metrics (ROAS/MER, CPA, CVR, AOV, CAC, LTV signals where available)
- Maintain clean reporting that explains what changed, why it changed, and what you’re doing next
- Implement testing strategies (creative, audiences, landing pages, messaging, offers) and apply learnings
Collaboration and Process
- Partner with strategy + creative resources to keep production moving
- Give clear, actionable feedback on ad creative and landing pages based on performance data
- Maintain strong QA: tracking hygiene, naming conventions, budgets, placements, UTMs, and creative approvals
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years managing paid media, ideally for DTC brands and/or in an agency setting
- Deep hands-on experience with:
- Meta Ads Manager (required)
- Google Ads (required; Search + Shopping/PMax)
- Strong understanding of full-funnel performance strategy (prospecting, retargeting, creative iteration, budget allocation)
- Excellent operational rigor: timelines, organization, QA discipline, and consistent follow-through
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams with minimal hand-holding
- Ability to speak clearly about performance without fluff: what’s happening, what you’re changing, and why
Preferred (strongly)
- Experience with at least one additional platform (TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Microsoft Ads)
- Experience with GA4 basics, pixel/CAPI concepts, and attribution realities for eCommerce
- Experience collaborating with creative teams and improving output through performance-led feedback
---
White-Label + NDA Requirements
This engagement would be governed by NDA and white-label terms:
- Work is delivered on behalf of TNRS
- No public attribution, portfolio use, or case studies without written approval
- No direct client communication unless explicitly requested/approved by TNRS
- No subcontracting without written approval
- If you’re an agency, disclose who will execute the work and your QA process
---

Please include:
1. Your setup
- Individual specialist or agency/studio
- If agency: who will be hands-on day-to-day and how QA is handled
2. Proof of execution
- 2 examples of accounts you supported (briefly): budget range, channel mix (Meta/Google), what you did (testing, structure, creative iteration), and outcomes (CPA/ROAS/MER trends if available)
3. Capacity + working style
- Confirm you can reliably support 30+ hours/month
- Your working time zone
