Liam runs Liam Hood Studio, a freelance web design and development practice based in Charlotte, NC, specializing in Shopify theme development and storefront support for growing brands in the home and beauty spaces.

As both designer and developer, he handles a project end to end, so design decisions are made with an eye toward what's actually buildable, and the build stays true to the original vision without getting lost in handoffs between teams.

Prior to going independent, Liam spent over a decade working with agencies and enterprises, contributing to custom website builds, Shopify development, and conversion rate optimization for national brands including Big Green Egg, ADT, CNET, and UnitedHealthcare, work that reached millions of users across multiple enterprise websites.

Liam is passionate about treating every client as a long-term partner, building sites and stores designed not just to launch, but to keep converting and growing over time.
